PARTICIPATION IN OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES STATEMENT

Climbing and Mountaineering and Canyoning are hazardous activities with a danger of personal injury or death. It is impossible to eliminate all risk, however through experience and following best practise and national guidelines we do our utmost to ensure your safety.

However, participants of all courses should be aware of and accept the risks and be responsible for their own actions and involvement. Whilst Instructors will take all reasonable care to reduce this risk. As a participant you are required to observe the safety instructions given to you during the course.  In addition, climbing is a physical activity and minor sports injuries (bumps, sprains, and strains) are not uncommon. Although we take every care to minimise these risks, parents and carers should be aware of these and accept them on behalf of their children.
